Academic Lecture: Mindu Hornick

Edgbaston High School is delighted to announce that we shall be joined by Mindu Hornick for the next installment of our Academic Lecture programme.
Ms Hornick is a Holocaust survivor. At the age of 13, she was sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp with her mother, sister and two younger brothers and on Thursday 18 October she will visit EHS to share with us her experiences. This is a very rare opportunity, and is sure to be an engaging and moving talk.
The event will take place at 3.30pm in the Hexagon and is open to all girls from Years 10-13. Parents are very welcome to attend this event too; please email Mr Smith to register your interest in attending.
