Announcing the Head Girl and Deputy Head Girls elect

Sixth Form

29 March 2018

Following impressive presentations to the School and staff during assemblies this term, we are delighted to announce the Senior School Head Girl and Deputy Head Girls elect for the academic year 2018-19.

The position of Head Girl has been awarded to Briony. Briony has been a pupil at EHS since Year 1 in the Preparatory School. An accomplished musician, her experiences as a performer were clearly instrumental in the poise and confidence Briony showed during her address to the school. She is studying Economics, Religious Studies and Psychology and is interested in studying either Psychology and Philosophy at university.
Briony will be ably supported by two Deputy Head Girls, Georgia and Mariam.

Georgia joined EHS from Moseley Primary School at Year 7. She is studying Religious Studies, History and Sociology. Georgia is passionate about celebrating culture and diversity, and hopes to put her interests to good use by pursuing a career in law and human rights law.

Mariam joined EHS in the Prep department at Year 6 having moved here from New Zealand with her family. A keen film enthusiast and founding member of the school’s first Film Club, Mariam is studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Classical Greek and hopes to eventually embark upon a career in medicine.

The new team will officially take up their positions in the summer term once Year 13 have departed on study leave.

Our congratulations go to Briony, Georgia and Mariam. We are sure they will make a formidable team and we look forward to their valuable and positive contributions to the School over the next year.

All students in Sixth Form are given the opportunity to take on a position of responsibility or leadership within the School and we look forward to further positions being announced shortly.
