Another Year of A Level Success!

14 August 2015

We are pleased to announce this year's A Level results. At A Level the School's pass rate is 98.3% with 31% of the cohort achieving three or more A or A* grades. 49% of students achieved all A/A* grades.

Commenting Dr Ruth Weeks, Headmistress, said: "I warmly congratulate our students on their examination results. The girls have worked incredibly hard to gain excellent grades across a wide range of subjects.

"The girls have achieved these impressive results while playing an active role in the music, sport, extracurricular and leadership opportunities that are so characteristic of life at EHS. The School's unique approach and the quality of teaching and dedication of staff all contribute to this success. They leave us as confident and independent young women, ready to make the most of the opportunities in the wider world."

Having achieved the required grades, our Year 13 leavers now look forward to studying degree subjects as diverse as Law, Politics and International Relations, Economics and Civil Engineering at some of the country's top universities including Durham, Bristol, Oxford and Birmingham.
