Girls Take Advantage of Careers Service

30 September 2016

Last week was a busy one at EHS as our Careers programme got underway with Year 11 beginning their careers workshops. Mrs Campbell, Head of Year 11, gave a talk on The Challenge and Morrisby profiling, both of which are offered through the School and Mrs Shutt, Head of Careers, talked to girls on the theme of ‘what next?’ and work experience.

In addition, we were delighted to host an after-school session on careers in accountancy, where girls could ask for advice and support from professionals in their field. Further sessions will take place later in the year.

Careers interviews take place every lunchtime. If your daughter would like advice on any aspects of careers, please do encourage her to sign up for a careers interview at the Careers Room.

If you feel you could help with our careers programme by coming in to speak to girls or offering work experience placements we would love to hear from you. Please do get in touch via email shuttj@edgbastonhigh.co.uk
