03 February 2017
On Tuesday 28 February the Centre for Advanced Dance Training is holding a dance workshop at EHS for 30 girls from Years 7 -11. This is a fabulous opportunity, as girls that
show dance potential will be invited to audition for the C.A.T.
What is The Centre for Advanced Dance Training?
It is an exciting and challenging programme that gives students access to high quality dance training whilst still attending mainstream school. Taking part can lead to a future career in dance.
Where is it based?
Classes take place at DanceXchange’s studios based within The Birmingham Hippodrome.
Who can join?
The training programme is designed for young people aged 11-18 years (though you must be 16 or under to join the programme). You don’t need to have had previous experience, just passion.
What can I learn?
There are two strands:
Dance Generation – for students wishing to learn Contemporary Dance
Yuva Gati – for students wishing to study South Asian dance styles, Bharatanatyam or Kathak.
If you would like your daughter to take part in this dance workshop, please complete the Booking Form.
