EHS Showcases Talent For Children in Need

27 November 2015

On Friday 20  November EHS held its annual talent show for Children in Need. Many auditions were held in the week leading up to the talent show and the Sixth Form Charity Representatives, Amna Haroon, Laura Dunnaker and Ellie-May Willians, had a tough time selecting the final seven from the fantastic range of talent on display.

The audience were treated to some fantastic acts on the day including singers, dancers and even some circus skills! The judges Mr Robson, Miss Richardson, Mrs Lampard and Drama Scholar Zara Ryan, had a difficult task deciding on the winners but eventually they came to their decision:

Third place went to Liberty Byrne in Year 7 who did an excellent Hula-hooping act.

Second Place was Maya Chavda and Mahe-Nau Javed in Year 9 who performed an energetic ribbon dance which proved very popular with the audience.

First Place was awarded to Lydia Diwaker also in Year 9, who sang a moving rendition of 'Photograph' by Ed Sheeran.

Overall the event was a great success; from the talent show and the non-uniform day we managed to raise a fantastic £864.34 for Children In Need.

Thanks go to everyone who auditioned, the judges, the tech team and of course our fantastic finalists. Well done to everyone involved.

Amna Haroon (Sixth Form Charity Representative)
