Enjoying the great outdoors
23 June 2017
The weather never deters the girls’ enjoyment of learning in the fresh air in our Outdoor Classroom. They have realised that they can have fun so long as they are dressed appropriately. That might be wearing our ‘Muddy Puddle’ suits in the rain or shorts and t-shirt in the sun.
When the weather is wet they enjoy puddle jumping, sheltering in the dens and catching raindrops on their tongues. In the sun paddling, playing in the sand and playing games offers outdoor fun.
Whatever the weather, the girls enjoy cooking up a storm in the mud kitchen and planting all sorts of things. At the moment, the Outdoor Classroom is decorated with summer flowers growing in our ‘wellie pots.’
