Forging community links on St George's Day

On Monday 23 April, EHS supported St George’s Church, Edgbaston in their annual celebration of St George’s Day.
The EHS Cheerleading squad performed at the celebration and our gifted musical ensemble and solo performances also added real flair to the event. Textiles teacher Miss Cummings managed a cape-making workshop which went off splendidly, complete with a walk down the catwalk!
The occasion was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen links with our local community, and pupils of both EHS and St Georges Primary School engaged with each other’s inputs which was very rewarding.
