Prep Enjoy WW1 Exhibition Tour

27 November 2015

The World War I Centenary Exhibition on display in the Senior School Ante-hall generates lots of interest from students, staff and visitors. Miss Deacon and Mr Smith have worked together to provide all pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 in the Prep Department with an opportunity to explore the exhibition and learn more about The Great War. Throughout November, Mr. Smith and Sixth Form History students have kindly offered their time and knowledge by leading tours of the exhibition, tailored to the needs of the different age groups in the Prep Department.

In these photographs you can see 1C girls enjoying their tour and learning more about what the soldiers wore and the role of women during the war. They studied artefacts from 100 years ago and admired poppies created for the exhibition.
