Spring has arrived in Year 2!
04 March 2016
Despite the cold snap of weather Year 2 girls began the week creating imaginative poems about Spring in the style of the Haiku which originated in Japan.
In their art lessons they used pastels and chalks to capture the shape of the petals and vivid colours of spring flowers. Later in the week, when the flowers were beginning to droop and wither, the girls dissected them to help with their science topic on parts of a plant.
They are now looking forward to the arrival of the Spring sunshine!
