St George's Day Church Service

29 April 2016

On Friday 22 April, students and staff visited St George's Church, Edgbaston to take part in their annual St George's Day celebrations.  Girls from across the key stages performed for the audience, including the Recorder and Guitar Ensembles, and solo performances from Esther Prasadam in Year 13 and Emma Khan in Year 12, the current EHS Young Musician of the Year.

The event also featured choir performances, drama and dancing from Hallfield Primary and St George's school.  There was also an impressive array of refreshments provided by EHS and local businesses. Reverend Julian Francis, vicar at St George's said of the event, “All of the girls performed superbly and were, as ever, an asset to EHS.”

Thanks to everyone for all their efforts and for another excellent St George's Day celebration.
