Assemblies

Each day begins with an assembly. Whilst this is usually non-denominational, account is taken of a variety of religions. The multi-faith aspects of our society are expressed through stories and the sharing of experiences. Tolerance of other faiths is stressed and importance is given to exploring issues through a multi-faith approach.

Assemblies are also used to make the connection with the wider, less privileged world outside. We have a weekly charity collection and girls choose which charities they would like to help. We have links with a local crisis centre, and the girls are involved in bringing in clothing and toys for children less fortunate than themselves. Visiting speakers talk to the girls about their work with charitable foundations.
