Countdown to Christmas

At the end of last week we began the countdown to Christmas as the girls from the Prep School gathered for the lighting up of the Christmas tree generously given to school by the EHS Parents’ Association.

The tree is located in the heart of the school, on the terrace near the Octagon, where everyone in school can enjoy its cheery presence throughout each day.

In seasonally crisp weather girls and staff from Years 1 – 6 gathered round the tree to enjoy some singing of Christmas songs accompanied by sleigh bells and the Music staff playing a range of instruments.

Then Charlotte, our Head Girl and Deputies Emily and Jessie started the countdown which resulted in the tree being lit up ready to shine for the weeks ahead.
