The Senior School had the pleasure of hosting Liz Cummings from the Royal College of Midwives for a session on careers within the National Health Service (NHS), focusing on what it is like to be a midwife.
In a Tuesday lunchtime session that was open to pupils from Years 7 - 13, Liz shared insights into a variety of healthcare professions, from physiotherapy to radiology, and explained the different pathways for entering these fields within the NHS.
With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse and midwife, Liz provided invaluable guidance to the attendees, revealing career options in healthcare that some might not have previously considered.
