Fireworks Extravaganza!

EHS Parents’ Association organised their annual Firework Party for Saturday 4 November. The day did not dawn well weather wise but volunteers were undeterred as they made preparations for the evening event ahead. As has been the custom, the skies cleared in time for a crisp dry night and a most enjoyable event for all who attended.

There were two spectacular displays to delight the audience and three Year 6 girls from Prep really enjoyed leading the countdown for the final display. Charlotte, Head Girl, Emily, Deputy Head Girl and Maggie, Sports Captain did a great job.

During the evening there were various types of food served, including waffles and hot drinks. There were also sweets and various glow sticks and toys to add to the sparkle of the evening.

It was good to meet up with each other at the end of the school break ahead of the new half term and we thank the members of the EHSPA for their hard work.
