Pupils Illuminate School Assembly with Diwali Celebration

Pupils from Year 7-9 took centre stage during a special assembly to talk about the significance of Diwali, the Festival of Light celebrated by Sikh, Hindu and Jain communities.
The girls worked collaboratively to bring the occasion to life for the school community, retelling the story and touching on some of the associated cultural traditions. Under the guidance of Miss Thapar, they played an active role in crafting the script and enjoyed being given the opportunity to select songs to accompany the entrance and exit of the assembly by pupils.
