Good Luck to Year 11
10 May 2024
On Wednesday, we celebrated Year 11's final day in school in a flurry of excitement and emotion.
The day started with teachers joining the girls in the Hexagon for a special breakfast where they watched in fascination (and some in horror!) a slide show of everyone’s Year 7 school photos. Next was the Final Assembly that featured a fantastic video made by Martha Abbott followed by Layla Majid singing a beautiful rendition of Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’.Their last day as Year 11 ended with a Krispy Kreme donut feast followed by an opportunity for that very traditional rite of passage: the signing of school shirts!
Dear Year 11,
You have all been on such a journey since Year 7 (and we’ve aged about 20 years!) But you have come through as head strong, smart, funny and interesting young women, with such amazing futures ahead of you.
We have been so impressed with your motivation and resilience and wish you the very best of luck in your GCSE examinations: you can do this!
We look forward to seeing you continue to shine in Sixth Form and look forward to celebrating with you on results day.
In the words of Natasha Bedingfield “The rest is still unwritten.”
