Curiosity Corner

The girls in Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception are constantly challenged within and beyond the curriculum in Westbourne, our Pre-Prep School. They certainly enjoy the opportunity to extend their knowledge and to find out about new topics.
The Curiosity Corner is our regular weekly extension beyond the curriculum where Recycling has been the latest topic. Children have considered what they should do with different types of waste. They have learnt the importance of recycling and how it can help our environment. Girls have also found that recycling can be fun too!
Reception decorated old CDs and DVDs to create some beautiful sun catchers for our front garden. Kindergarten have had fun role playing in their new pirate ship made out of recycled packing boxes!
They are learning early about the importance of protecting the planet!
