Cycling to Confidence

Year 6 students actively engaged in Bikeability this week, as part of their enrichment programme. They honed their cycling skills within the safety of our playground, practising their signalling, observations, navigating obstacles and an emergency stop. The next step was to venture onto local roads in small groups to put their skills into practice.
At EHS, we believe in empowering our pupils not just to ride bicycles, but to navigate life's pathways with confidence and competence. Through Bikeability, we offer more than just cycling skills; we provide the foundation for our students to tackle challenges confidently, adapt to new environments, and explore the world around them, both on and off the saddle.
