A political education

05 May 2017

On Wednesday 3rd May, Year 12 participated in a seminar with James Nichols from the company Political Education for Students where they were asked to consider the question “Why did we vote to leave the European Union?”.

They were given some background information on the EU referendum and then asked to consider a range of factors looking at why the result swung in favour of Leave. This was followed by a discussion of their thoughts and the opportunity to ask James any questions they had.

It was a most interesting and thought-provoking afternoon.
