On Tuesday this week, Year 12 English Literature students went to see the critically-acclaimed National Theatre screened production of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
With Danny Boyle as the producer, Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller as both Frankenstein and The Monster, the National Theatre's production amazed, entertained and, at times, frankly scared Year 12! By the end of the production, Year 12 were left in no doubt that the Gothic genre delves deep into the darker aspects of the human psyche.
