the weekly newsletter from Dr Ruth Weeks, Headmistress
24 March 2016
Each year the highlight of the EHSPA Calendar is the Prep Party. This year was no exception and there was an air of excitement as girls arrived at school carrying party bags containing their outfits for the evening.
At the end of school everyone donned party clothes and set off to the Hall and Octagon ready for an evening of fun and dancing. There was a meal deal for the hungry, tables groaning with cake and many stalls to enjoy. The girls could have faces, hands and nails painted or they could guess the name of teddies or where Flopsy buried her carrots. They could also pose for a photo shoot or make a mask.
This was all in addition to having a great time dancing in the Octagon or enjoying a delicious candyfloss or bag of popcorn.
Our thanks to all the parents who helped on the day and who baked cakes. We hope you all enjoyed meeting up with each other. If you would like to get involved, or find out more about joining the EHS Parents’ Association, why not join their Facebook group? It is a non-public (‘Closed’) group for parents of EHS girls.
