Co-curricular Activities

In common with all parts of the School, Sixth Formers participate in a range of co-curricular activities, inevitably taking on leadership roles.

Opportunities in Sport

A Sixth Former is elected to the post of Sports Captain and has responsibility for the development and promotion of sport throughout the School.

Captains of the School's five houses - St. Andrew, St. David, St. Francis, St. George and St. Patrick - organise teams and entry to inter-house tournaments and swimming galas. In addition, girls offer advice and mentor younger athletes and gymnasts and can also take up new sports such as fencing or golf.

Opportunities in Music

Sixth Form students feature prominently in Chamber Choir, Senior Choir, the School Orchestra and the various string and wind ensembles. A Level students also give their time willingly to assist during Lower School concerts and productions.

Opportunities in Drama

The School runs a Senior Youth Theatre after school once a week in which Years 10-13 are involved. Theatre Studies students also assist with lighting and audio-visuals in the Octagon for assemblies and other gatherings.

See Enrichment section for a full list of this year's activities which include Learning a Language and a Fine Dining Cookery course.
