Old Girls' Association
Save the date: 'Carols and Canapés'
01 October 2018
As the nights draw in and the mornings turn frosty, the Old Girls’ Association is looking forward once again to our annual choral event, ‘Carols and Canapés’.
You and your family are warmly invited to share in an evening of festive music, traditional readings and good company. Fittingly festive refreshments, including mince pies and mulled wine, will be served at the event which will be held on Sunday 16 December 2018 from 5.45 - 7.30pm in the Senior School Hall.
The choir will be directed by classical musician and Old Girl Aimée Presswood, who will soon begin work to organise the OGA choir for the festive performance of well-known, traditional songs for everyone to join in with. The choir will meet on the morning of the event to begin ‘scratch’ rehearsals in the Music School before culminating in the evening performance. This is fantastic opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and to indulge a shared passion.
If you are keen to become involved with the choir’s Christmas performance, we are always enthusiastic about new members. To note your interest or for further information, please contact Aimée directly at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Of course, we also need an audience! So if you would prefer to enjoy this wonderfully festive occasion as a member of the audience, we would be pleased to hear from you now - Old Girls, family and friends are all welcome. The event is free of charge but, to help with catering, do email email@example.com now to reserve your spaces.
Please spread the word - tag your friends in our event on the OGA Facebook page https://bit.ly/2Nfmt8T . We hope to see you there!
