Sixth Form

Choosing a Sixth Form destination is an important decision, and we understand that you want to know as much as possible about life at EHS Sixth Form.

Choosing a Sixth Form destination is an important decision, and we understand that you want to know as much as possible about life at EHS Sixth Form.

Whether you are a newcomer to EHS or a current student, the Sixth Form at Edgbaston High School for Girls represents the culmination of your school career, offering the opportunity to achieve academic goals, to contribute to the school and community life and to learn new, sometimes unexpected skills.

Our examination record at A Level is impressive: a 98.3 per cent pass rate and 49 per cent of students achieving all A or A* grades means that all girls meet, and even surpass, their expectations to ensure they can go on to their chosen universities or careers of choice.

Girls benefit from an excellent careers service and we encourage all to participate in a wide-ranging enrichment programme which introduces new subjects such as Mandarin.

Entering Sixth Form is an exciting step. Our aim is to ensure that you leave the EHS Sixth Form more than able to tackle university life and study, be an aware and responsible member of society with a sense of service and commitment whilst not diminishing your creativity and spontaneity!
