Year 7 netballers play for points

02 December 2016

During the last two weeks of their ‘whole year’ P.E. lessons, girls in Year 7 have enjoyed preparing for the annual house netball competition. Within their houses girls were tasked with arranging captains, players, managers, secretaries and, of course, refreshments - which at EHS means cakes!

The cakes this year were phenomenal with superb house cakes from Marie-Eve Kavanagh, Davina and Indira Jagpal and Malayeka Shehzad.

The overall results saw St George win with St David a close second and St Patrick, third. These wins add points to the house totals at the end of the term, with each winning house receiving 50 points.

Both the standard of play and the cakes were amazing and all girls enjoyed the event. Well done to all involved!

We look forward to the Year 8 House Netball next term.

Head of P.E.
