Teaching Roles
Early Years Room Leader - closing date 9am on Monday 14 April (to start in September)
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and kind Early Years Room Leader who is passionate about Early Years education and who recognises the pivotal role of this stage in a child’s development.
An Early Years Qualification is essential.
The successful candidate will support the Senior Teacher (Pre-Prep) in the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring the provision of a high standard of care for children placed in the EYFS in a way that meets their physical, social, emotional, intellectual and developmental needs. They will encourage parents to take an active interest in their daughter's progress and to make them feel welcome in the school, ensuring they have a clear picture of their daughter’s development.

Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview and will be asked to prepare specific activities. There will also be an opportunity to tour the School on the day.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative French Language Assistant who is fluent in both French and English.
The successful candidate will support the French Teachers in the preparation and delivery of language activities for use in the classroom, and in group work.

Support Staff Roles
Onsite Caretaker - Closing date 9am Friday 28 March
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Caretaker/Key Holder to join our Estates and Facilities team. Rent-free onsite accommodation is provided. The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for key holding and security of the school site. This is a varied role, and the post holder will assist the Estates and Facilities Manager in regular maintenance and compliance tasks and in ensuring the school site is kept clean, tidy and risk-free. They will be expected to build positive working relationships with all school staff and ensure the school can operate as smoothly as possible to create the best environment for our pupils.
- A recognised trade qualification would be very useful.
- This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week with on-call rota) to start as soon as possible. A full job description and person specification can be found in the Information Pack.
- Salary £24,500-£26,500 depending on experience/qualifications

Maintenance Technician - closing date 9am Friday 11 April (to start in May)
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our Estates and Facilities team. A recognised trade qualification would be beneficial.
This is a varied role, and the post holder will assist the Estates and Facilities Manager and Caretaker in regular maintenance and compliance tasks and in ensuring the school site is kept clean, tidy and risk-free. There will be occasional times when the post holder will need to open or lock up to cover staff absence. They will be expected to build positive working relationships with all school staff and ensure the school can operate as smoothly as possible to create the best environment for our pupils..

Interested in training to be a teacher?
EHS is a member of the King Edward’s Consortium (KEC), a group of 23 schools in the Birmingham and Solihull areas who work together to train graduate secondary-school teachers. The group is the number-one school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) provider in the country (The Good Teacher Training Guide, 2017).
If you become a KEC trainee, you’ll be in school from day one, and treated as a member of staff. As well as teaching your subject, you’ll be a form tutor and contribute to wider school life. For five weeks at the start of the spring term, you’ll also have a second, shorter placement in a contrasting school. Find out more. KEC website
