Admissions

We are delighted that you are considering Edgbaston High School for your daughter - this section has all the information you need to get started.

Choose from the links below to see what’s involved in joining EHS at each point.

If you need to know more, please call our Admissions Team on 0121 454 5831 or email admissions@edgbastonhigh.co.uk.

Admissions Process

Entry into Edgbaston High School is by assessment. Most of our girls join us at key entry points: the start of Nursery, Prep School (Reception), Senior School (Year 7) and Sixth Form (Year 12). If those options aren’t suitable for your daughter, there are other times when she might be able to join us.

Make an Application now

Making a Registration for your daughter will require you to set up a unique login to our Admissions Portal, see link below. Please make sure you make a note of the email address and password for future use. From our Admissions Portal you will be able to book open events, make applications (including scholarship applications), complete important forms, track your applications progress and communicate with us directly. We hope this will make your family's journey through our admissions process as simple and convenient as possible. Tier 4 Visa Sponsorship

Please note that we are able to sponsor a small number of pupils to study at Edgbaston High School on a Tier 4 Student VISA however, we require students to be living in the UK with a parent.

Once you have been offered a place at EHS, the next stage for you will be to complete the Acceptance Form and confirm your decision to accept the place. Once the acceptance form has been completed and received by the Admissions Team, the the process of applying for the CAS can begin. This CAS is required by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) which indicates that the School will be the sponsor of the student in the UK for the specific academic course being followed. Before we can apply for the CAS, we must have the following information:

  • Current School Report
  • Copies of pupil and parental passport/Birth certificate
  • Signed acceptance forms
  • First term's fees paid
  • Returnable deposit paid
