Welcome from the Chair

09 October 2017

Welcome to ‘Old Girls Reunited', especially to our new members who left EHS this summer. We wish you all every success and happiness in whatever you have chosen to do this year.

Last Christmas saw another successful and festive Carols & Canapés evening, with the EHS OGA choir performing a wide repertoire of music. We are always delighted to see a supportive audience from ALL our members, and we especially encourage our July 2017 leavers to make this a Christmassy reunion for your year group.

Former Head of Music, Margaret Harper, has now stepped down from the role and we are so very grateful for the years she has directed the music so wonderfully. We are thrilled that Old Girl, accomplished singer, Aimée Presswood, has agreed to step into Margaret’s shoes and she has begun the preparations for the 2017 programme, scheduled for Sunday 17 December. The choir are always keen to be joined by new faces so please get in touch if you would like to join the singers on the day: rehearsals take place during the day of the performance and are a great way to reconnect with old friends and to make new ones. An enthusiastic audience is also appreciated so please save the date; we look forward to welcoming you in the evening.

We will be announcing a reunion event in the Spring Term in our next newsletter so watch this space.

The production of Laurel Leaves 2018 is ongoing. Please share your news and photographs with us; it's lovely to discover the different paths all your lives take.

With best wishes to you all,

Lindsay Lucas (née Farnath)
Chair of the EHS OGA
