There was more success for Hannah Clutton-Brock and Davina Mahgerefteh on Wednesday 31 January at the second round of the ESU Mace debating competition, which was held at KES.
Proposing the motion 'This house would ban the use of software to improve people's personal appearance in the media', Davina and Hannah fought off stiff competition from a talented opposing team from Newcastle Under Lyme School. The judges were very impressed by Hannah and Davina's mature and disciplined debating style. The pair now go through to the Regional Final of the competition, which will take place at Solihull School after half term.
