End of Term Message from the Headmistress
11 December 2015
Christmas is rapidly approaching and we are certainly in the Festive Spirit. Girls throughout the school are planning for the last few days, Christmas lunch, Carol services and House events and we are all looking forward to celebrating together before going home to our families for the holidays.
It has been a busy term and rather exciting in that we had our school inspection in early November. We hope to have the report in the New Year and it will be sent out to all our parents as soon as it arrives.
We have also enjoyed the most ambitious production ever staged at EHS. Les Misérables was a great success and enjoyed by all. It was a true team effort by staff and pupils (from EHS and beyond) not only in terms of performance but the support teams: makeup, wardrobe, catering and of course technical. The main talk in school is, of course, what next?
The New Year will come all too quickly but in the meantime I thank you for your support and I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
With best wishes,
Dr Ruth Weeks
