Tudor Time Travellers
28 November 2014
On Tuesday, Year 4 girls visited Selly Manor for a trip back to the time of the Tudors.
They enjoyed a tour of the manor house to discover what life would have been like for the people living there. They visited each room and learnt about the furniture and how many modern day sayings come from Tudor times. They also discovered what it was like to have no central heating in their houses.
The girls enjoyed playing with the type of toys Tudor children would have used. Not an iPad or computer game in sight!
The visit ended with the singing of some Tudor carols and Tudor dancing which the girls will share with their parents in the assembly next week.
