As part of their History curriculum, Year 3 girls enjoyed a Viking Day this week.
They all dressed as Vikings and took part in a range of activities to help them understand how Vikings lived. They wrote their names in Runes, spun wool, ground wheat and drilled wood Viking drills.
The highlight of the day was learning to be Viking fighters. Armed with shields and spears they practised marching and preparing for battle Viking style!
