A world of water
12 May 2017
As part of the unit of the EYFS framework to develop their understanding of the world, girls in Nursery have been exploring water. They have learnt, through a range of activities, that water is clear, that it helps to make them clean and that it helps flowers grow.
They have also been developing strong shoulder, elbow and wrist muscles in order to become effective writers.
They used scrubbing-brushes and soapy water to clean the blue mat. They used large circular movements to make soapy patterns. They also swapped hands after a little while to exercise both sides of the body.
It is clear from the photographs that they have enjoyed their learning.
