Amazing
Archive Wall

Something that all Old Girls should see is the amazing mural stretching the length of the first floor corridor.

Designed by the former Head of Art, Martin Dukes, the Archive Wall is a unique record of EHS from its earliest days.Using photographs from the school archives, it is cleverly put together by interposing colour and black and white pictures of girls playing sport, working in classrooms and laboratories, playing and singing in the school concerts and carol service.

The whole spectrum of school life over the past 147 years is visually brought to life and serves as a permanent record of the rich and vibrant history of EHS. The centre-piece of the mural is a recent whole school photograph.
