Cecilia’s Oar-some Success

Cecilia B is making waves in the world of rowing! She has made remarkable strides in her rowing this year and her most recent achievement at the 2025 Oarsport Junior Sculling Head at Dorney Lake is proof of her hard work and talent.
Competing on the iconic 8-lane course that once hosted the 2012 Olympics, Cecilia raced in a quadruple sculling boat in the W U15 category. Despite facing the challenge of racing against older competitors, she powered her way to an impressive 10th place finish out of over 60 crews—an outstanding accomplishment!
Looking ahead, Cecilia's next major event will be the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta on 26 April at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. She will represent East Midlands as part of one of 14 teams vying for the prestigious trophy. Following that, all eyes will turn to the National School’s Regatta in June.
With a thrilling summer of racing ahead, we are excited to see what Cecilia will achieve next. She is certainly one to watch - Go Cecilia!
