Celebrating World Teachers' Day

04 October 2024

At Edgbaston High School for Girls, we are immensely proud of our dedicated teachers who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our pupils. Ahead of World Teachers' Day on 5 October, we take a moment to thank our teachers for the work they do every day, not just in the classroom but beyond it.

Our teachers are deeply committed to ensuring the academic success of our girls, but they offer so much more than academic support. They foster an environment where each pupil feels valued, inspired, and encouraged to achieve her full potential. Whether through enrichment activities that spark curiosity, pastoral care that nurtures well-being, or one-on-one support to guide students through challenges, our teachers are always there, making a real difference in the lives of the young women in our care.

We celebrate our teachers for their passion, their patience, and their perseverance. They are the core of our aims and values, and their dedication to the school’s ethos is what helps Edgbaston High School shine. Today, we also acknowledge the wider teaching community, whose impact extends far beyond the school gates. They are shaping not just students' academic paths but their future lives and society as a whole.

Do you have a teacher at Edgbaston High who has made a difference in your life? If so, we would love to hear from you. Send us your message to them at Hello@edgbastonhigh.co.uk, and we’ll make sure it reaches them.

Happy World Teachers' Day!
