Digging for Worms
12 June 2015
This week girls in Nursery watched Mr Rees, the school gardener, digging for worms. They were difficult to find as they were hiding deep down in the dry ground.
The girls were allowed to hold the worms if they wanted but had to promise to wash their hands afterwards. The girls then returned to Nursery to help to make a wormery so they can keep an eye on their worms.
Nursery leader of the day, Alex, presented a 'Thank you card' to Mr Rees for helping them to learn more about their environment.
