We are sad to announce the passing of a fellow Laurel, Lina Handa (née Passi) – Class of 1981 

Lina often spoke fondly of her friends, teachers and memories from EHS, including the school song, the poetry recital competition and her swimming award. Lina went on to study law and practised as a solicitor in Birmingham and Wolverhampton, eventually setting up her own practice. She leaves her husband Sudhir and her two children, Nikhita and Nikhil.

Lina’s funeral will take place on Saturday 13 July. Those wishing to attend who would like further details, or those wishing to otherwise express condolences, please contact the EHS LA (ehsla@edgbastonhigh.co.uk) and we will pass your messages on to Lina’s family.
