An Evening Celebrating GCSE Achievements

On the evening of Tuesday, 12 November, students, parents and teachers gathered in the Octagon to celebrate the wonderful GCSE achievements of our current Year 12 students.
Beautiful musical interludes, inspiring speeches and poems from students and staff made for a wonderful evening of reflection on achievements, memories, successes and all the life skills built through their GCSE experience.
A speech presented and written by Year 12 students, reflecting on their journeys through Key Stage 4 was emotive and demonstrated wonderfully how much they have gained in addition to their outstanding qualifications.
Awards and certificates were presented, it was heart-warming to see the students and their families who have supported their GCSE journeys feeling such a sense of joy and pride in their achievements.
At the evening, there was a chance for all to continue the celebrations over refreshments.
Well done and congratulations to all our Year 12 students for their outstanding accomplishments!
