Creative Performances by Year 10 Drama Students

On Wednesday 29 January, our talented Year 10 Drama students took to the stage for the highly anticipated GCSE Devised Performance Showcase. After weeks of hard work, the students presented a series of original pieces, each entirely self-devised, demonstrating their creativity, imagination, and growing confidence as performers.
For many of the girls, this was their first time performing in front of a live audience, making the occasion both exciting and nerve-wracking. The performances explored a wide range of themes and storytelling techniques, highlighting their ability to engage and move an audience.
The school’s dedicated drama studio provided the perfect setting, giving students the space to rehearse, experiment, and refine their work in a professional environment. These performances will contribute towards their final GCSE grades, but more importantly, it was a chance to celebrate their progress and passion for drama.
We are incredibly proud of all the Year 10 students for their impressive achievements. Their passion and enthusiasm for drama shone through in every performance. Well done,
