Futures at EHS: A Busy First Term

Senior School | Sixth Form

13 December 2024

We kicked off the year with the greatly anticipated EHS Futures Fair on 27 September, where students from Years 9 - 13 could explore over 40 exhibitors from Universities, Employers, Charities and Laurels.

Armed with the futures booklet on their iPad, they were able to navigate around and ask questions about entry requirements, course content and degrees, society opportunities, volunteering, work experience, degree apprenticeships, online courses and much more!

Following this, we had workshops and talks about a plethora of careers:
•    DJH Accounting
•    National Grid
•    Nursing
•    Free Online webinars in Creative Arts, Psychology, Medicine, Banking, Law and Engineering
•    WPR Agency
•    Laurel Zaineb in Architecture
•    Laurel Olivia in Medicine Degree
•    West Midlands Police

Thank you to all the students who attended the talks this term, and here’s another busy term ahead for Futures at EHS.

Please keep an eye out on the @ehscareers Instagram account for upcoming talks and events such as Creative Industries month in February!

Remember, “If you see it, you can be it!”

Ms Chamber and Mrs Coley, The Futures Team.
