Colourful Picnic for Prep

The Prep School, involving pupils from Nursery to Year 6, look forward to what has become an annual tradition. This year the picnic had a difference as it had a red theme with everyone wearing an item or two of red.
This was especially for Mrs Hartley, at her last picnic before she retires, as her favourite colour is red. This was meant to be a surprise for Mrs Hartley but clearly someone let the secret out of the bag as Mrs Hartley arrived in a red jacket and shoes.
Although the weather was wet it did not stop the fun as we relocated to the Octagon. The picnic lunches were served in red and white bags, the music was playing and everyone enjoyed chatting together. A conga added to the fun and Mrs Hartley had opportunity to talk to all of the girls and pose together for a few photos.
Another memorable and enjoyable end of term event!
