Year 11 and 13 Return from Mock Exams

Students in Year 11 and Year 13 celebrated the end of their mock exams with a special gathering at breaktime on Monday. They came together in the Octagon to enjoy cake, juice and hot chocolate and to catch up with their friends and form tutors after being busy with mock exams since the start of term.
Year 11 and Year 13 pupils are now in the process of receiving valuable feedback from their teachers about the steps they should take as they prepare for their external exams in the summer.
Mrs Parsons, Head of Year 13, said: ‘We are pleased to welcome the students in Year 11 and Year 13 back to their regular lessons. The mock exam period can obviously be quite a stressful time, so we wanted to bring the students together to say well done and welcome back.’
Year 13 student Zhala said: ‘The rocky road was particularly fabulous and a great way to round off an intensive exam period!’
