A rosy glow on Pink Day
Preparatory | Senior School | Sixth Form
19 October 2017
The month of October is dedicated to raise money and awareness about Breast Cancer. On 16 October, Rachel Learmonth, an old girl of EHS, visited the school to tell us about her role at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital as their Charity Coordinator. She told us about the ground breaking developments within technology that allow doctors to detect cancer early, as well as specialist treatments.
On Wednesday 18 October, the whole school dressed in pink to support Rachel and the excellent work the charity team do at the QE towards looking after patients. All of the money raised on Wednesday will go towards funding their work.
All the girls and staff looked spectacular in many shades of pink, including fluffy onesies, tutus, pompoms and even pink camouflage!
Thank you to everyone.
