Adventure Awaited

Residential trips are always eagerly anticipated with a mixture of excitement and often a few nerves. This was the case for the girls in Year 4 who had their trip planned from the end of Year 3.

Finally, on Monday 24 April, 48 girls set off for Boreatton Park in Shropshire. There was very excited chatter on the journey – “Where will we be sleeping? What activities will we be doing? Will I enjoy it?”

They arrived to beautiful sunshine and amazing countryside and were plunged straight into activities. Micro scooters and the giant swing provided the first adventures. From then on it was go go go…

Climbing, aero ball, fencing, raft building and zip wire provided other amazing experiences during the stay. The evenings were busy too with a campfire with lots of singing and mini games.

Masses of great food was eaten by all and altogether it was a fantastic trip!
