Animal antics in Westbourne

In our latest step beyond the curriculum the girls in Westbourne had a visit from the 'animal lady'.
Kristan, from Lion Learners, visited to show the girls some of her unusual pets. They ranged from some we were more familiar with, including an albino hedgehog, rabbits and guinea pigs, to more exotic pets such as a snake, a giant millipede and even a tarantula!
Everyone had a lovely time stroking and holding all of the animals. Some girls were very brave in letting the snake wrap around their arms or sitting the tarantula in their hands or laps.
The girls learnt interesting facts and many questions were asked. We can't wait to see what Kristan will bring if she visits us again!
