GB coach inspires budding gymnasts

Last week, gymnasts from Years 7 and 8 were given the opportunity to attend a Gymnastics workshop with Great Britain coach Jody Kime at the GMAC sports centre.
The girls were firstly challenged with a technical warm up, focusing on improving their flexibility. Following this they worked on the air track completing back handsprings and front somersaults into the foam pits. The girls were then given the opportunity to try new technical skills on the beam, bars and trampoline.
I hope the day has inspired the girls to continue to train hard and hopefully have a successful season ahead.
