Careers Fair Announced
04 February 2022
We are delighted to confirm that the school will host a Careers Fair on Wednesday 23 March with the aim of providing opportunities for EHS students to explore their career options and make informed judgements at key transition points (GCSE and A Level).
The day will begin with a whole school assembly featuring a special guest speaker, followed by a number of talks and workshops throughout the day covering a broad range of careers options. There will be an opportunity for pupils to visit the Careers Fair in the Sixth Form Centre.
The day is aimed primarily at Years 9-13 with a focus on careers options, university, degree apprenticeships and studying abroad. We will also run practical sessions on developing a CV, honing interview skills, how to find work experience (virtual or in-person) and how to develop employability skills.
Past Careers Fairs have been a real source of inspiration to pupils, with numerous EHS Old Girls returning to represent a wide range of industries and sectors, passing on expertise and practical advice and we hope to be able to offer this service again this year.
Look out for further information in future issues of Friday Headlines.
