Down at the allotment

On Tuesday evening this week, we had a very successful evening with lots of lovely warm sunshine.
The Year 5 girls started by doing some jobs - sweeping, tidying and watering. Then we weeded different beds before learning how to pot new seeds ready to grow in the glass house and at home.
The girls, staff and much appreciated parent helpers had an enjoyable hour down at our wonderful allotment and we are reminded how lucky we are to have this fabulous resource
at our disposal!
